The Jr. High department welcomes all middle school students with open arms.  The 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Laurel are well loved as they begin to plumb the depths of scripture in their newly painted room.

Jr High students continue 3 year cycle of walking through the Bible.  The teaching emphasis is on learning from Biblical character studies  along the way from Genesis to Revelation. Featured characters include  Moses, Patriarchs like Abraham and key figures like Samuel, David,  Solomon, Daniel and Jesus and the Apostles.  Interim sessions tackle  age appropriate issues in Christian living. Also, teachers strive to  train students to have a Biblical worldview and equip them to share  and defend the faith.
